C.F. Reece & Son Supply Co., Inc. is located in Western North Carolina in the small town of Rutherfordton, NC, providing quick and easy rigging service to the greater Spartanburg, SC area, as well as Asheville and Charlotte, NC.  Our physical address is 831 N. Main Street, right on Hwy. 221 North. We have been the premier source for crane rentals and service for 71 years.  Since 1941, we have grown from a small 1300 square foot facility to over 45000 square feet under roof.

Founded by our grandfather, C.F. Reece, and expanded and grown into the business today by our father, Harley Reece, we are proud to be continuing their work ethic as a 3rd generation, women-owned business to support the local and regional areas.

Crane Service

C.F. Reece & Son Supply Co., Inc. has 8 cranes to serve your needs from 17 to 120 ton.  Below to the far right, you can see our Grove 5120B crane that has a 120 ton capacity and 288 feet ofboom and jib length.

C.F. Reece & Son Supply Co., Inc. takes great pride in the caliber of operators we have.  Our operators have an average of 25 yrs. operating for our company alone.

We regularly set modular homes, erect industrial superstructures and external ventilation equipment, as well as, load and transport large industrial machinery.  We specialize in those hard to get to spots for home or tower setting. 

C.F. Reece & Son Supply Co., Inc. specializes in moving large machinery and relocating plants.  We regularly offer our assistance to companies during Kaizen events to allow them to change their layouts to improve production.  We not only offer services to relocate the machinery, but also to run the pipe for air, water, or gas, as needed.

Since we have our own trucks and trailers for transporting equipment, we have been able to tackle projects such as the relocation of plants from as far away as New York and Michigan to states in the Southeast.

We take pride in moving equipment in a timely fashion and without damage.  In fact, if a project requires equipment to move a machine that we do not have, we usually design it and fabricate it ourselves.  Our rigging equipment can presently handle and job up to 250,000lbs.

Reece & Son Supply Co., Inc. started out in the supply business and offers a variety of parts to meet your needs.  We are here to serve you by providing off the shelf and special order materials for all your needs.  We have a large inventory of hydraulic hose, fittings, and adapters.  Hoses are made while you wait or you may drop them off and even call in your order for hoses with the proper information.

Our inventory includes belts, bearings, roller chain, sprockets, pulleys, welders, welding supplies, welding gases and more.  We also carry saw blades, drill bits, hardware, and portable tools.  We carry the following brands:  Miller, Lincoln, Lenox, Proto, Blackhawk, Stanley, Milwaukee, Gates, BWP, Rigid, and many others.  We also have an inventory of structural steels and plates in our steel warehouse.
